Okay, so since it is summer, and it starts to get hot, my hair gets really oily, even when I take a shower every single day. I use Gairneir Frutis Sleek and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner, and it's done nothing for me. Any shampoos that are good quality, and works to dry out hair more, but doesn't cause dandruff? HELP!Ahh! Shampoo and Conditioner help please!?
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organix active ingredients and is sulfate free, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!!!

You should use a clarifying shampoo. Clariflying shampoos get rid of natural oils and product buildup on hair-like hairspray, silicones, etc. Neutrogena makes one that is one of my favorites and it smells really good. I think that you are only supposed to use it once a week, though. It is around $5.
My hairdresser suggested mixing a little bit of baking soda in with my normal shampoo once a month or so to help get rid of buildup.
There are also anti-dandruff shampoos.
If you don't use clarifying or anti -dandruff shampoos, just use a normal shampoo without any conditioners, silicones, etc. and avoid products that cause a lot of buildup.
As for conditioner, I would use a very light one and only apply it to the ends. Dove and Pantene have conditioners that aren't heavy and won't add a lot of moisture to the hair.
Here is a link to the Neutrogena shampoo that I like:

You need a clarifying shampoo, not ';sleek and shine.'; That leaves a residue in your hair that makes it feel oily faster.
Theres one of your problems it says SHINEY obviously your hair has oil producing its own shine so by you using that product it makes it oily/greasy looking a DEF good product is Pantene Pro-V...try it out! Conditions your hair VERY well and has a nice clean shine to it. Also make sure you use Shampoo AND Conditioner. Good luck girlie!!!! :)
tresseme works pretty well.
herbal essences also works great, %26amp; smells amazing !
:)
I personally HATE garnier products. Try any biolage product or redken, they work really well. I feel like garnier makes my hair oily and just gross.
