I know that L'Oreal and a few other brands are on the 'do test' list, but I have independently contacted them and they say absolutely not. So, it's your judgment on who to believe.
Don't let the other answers stupidity and illogical rationalizations influence you. The companies above do not test on animals at all. While standardized ingredients in the products may have been tested on animals at one point, usually far in the past, these companies do not currently engage in it on any of their products in any form. Many other companies so still test on animals, whether by choice or by legal requirement for new products.

it's virtually impossible to find any product that hasn't included animal testing - the end result may not have been but the by-products used in its manufacture almost certainly have
