had been using heat blower like two months back during winters and used it for abt 4 months at worlplace. So could it be dry as its result. wat to do . simply hate dry hair, though one side is not so dry. suggestionsHave very VERY dry hair. want help. hate it . tried shampoo and conditioner with moisture. suggestions?
Trim your split ends, then do a Hot oil treatment, or Mayo. The oil/fat in the mayo act as a conditioner, let it sit on your hair for the same amount of time as a hot oil treatment, and then rinse it out- and shampoo and condition your hair as usual.
Also works for dry hair: Skip washing your hair a day or two, make sure not to do anything that you would normally need to wash out of your hair (mud, pool water).
Another suggestion: try leaving in your conditioner for a half hour, and then rinse it out. Do not shampoo again until your next shower.
Also try taking a vitamin e supplement. Vitamin E is good for your skin, its a naturally occuring oil.Have very VERY dry hair. want help. hate it . tried shampoo and conditioner with moisture. suggestions?
Hello,
For a start, don't use supermarket material as they all contain silicone which is an absalute disaster for hair. It is a type of plastic that is used to coat the hair, mking it feel lovely and soft and cosmetic. But it stops any good bacteria getting ni and bad bacteria from coming out. A big NONO for all hair. Try the Apuwi shampoo and codnitoner is Paul Mitchel,
Avaiable at Hairhouse Wareouse. Use a treatment once a week, also in paul mitchel, and use a moisturiser. Try PPS sun mousitriser. It also protects from the sun!
Good Luck

Thetakeove... is absalutley right...you must use a heat protector every time heat goes onto your hair.
The problem is not shampooing- it's the contanst heat assault on your hair from using a hair dryer (I assume that's what you meant). You need to use a heat protectant EVERY time. I don't know where you live, but if you can, use Matrix brand products. I have super dry, curly, frizzy hair and it's the best heat protectant, straightening crme, finishing creme, shampoo etc etc. Good luck.
Also, colouring your hair is one of the best deep conditioning treatments.
I'd try doing an oil treatment. Every once in a while I warm up some coconut oil and rub it through my hair. I put a shower cap on and leave it on for a bit, then shampoo it out. It always comes out healthy and shiny looking. :) It also helps with dry scalp.
You can use other oils I suppose, I tried olive oil once, but it wasn't quite as good. Plus coconut oil has the benefit of smelling REALLY good!
If you do a search for coconut oil hair treatment, or similar you should find quite a bit of information!
well go to boots, and ask them to show u the hair masks. Thee works by opening the hair shaft, and puting the moisturisers in the hair shaft. I use these, and they really helped my dry hair. Or u could use pantene pro v, the conditioners are a different sort rto the other brands. They open the hair shaft like the masks, and then the result is glossy lush hair! They pantene conditioners are penetrating conditioners, and they are better than suface conditioners taht coat the hair with gloss. xoxox
Cut off as much as you can, you could try dying it darker, dark dyes have so much conditioners and no amonia that it is alright for you hair and I find makes mine shiny and softer. Plus comes with great condidtioner, then trim and stay on top of hot oils or masks once a week.
Try an over night deep conditioner. It may b expensive but Bumble and Bumble have a gr8 range. May sound disgusting but shampoo your haair, rinse n beer and rinse in cold water. Your hair will have a natural, ungreasy shine and not look dry AT ALL :-)
when your hair is wet, work a little serum through it and let dry naturally, it will be sleek and glossy when it dries. Always use a wide tooth comb on dry hair too.
get a good hot oil massage every week...use loreal coditioners or god to ur salon ad ask for a mint therapy massage/treatment and dont blow dry for a while..
should help or .. use coonnut or olive oil heat it and apply
works for me
hope it helps
use an intensive conditioner once a week
and try and use the heat blower as little as possible
Get a deep special conditioner for dry hair. See if that works. I suppose the blower could have made your hair dry.
Well wat kind of shampoo and conditioner did u use. Try a different brand theres tons at even the supermarket
Try a hot oil treatment and make sure you are drinking enough water too.
try doing a cheap deep conditioner treatment and see how your hair is after that
